Why Should You go to Church?

If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this! If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it. If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope! Why Go To Church? A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. 'I've gone for 30 years now,' he wrote, 'and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.' This started a real controversy in the 'Letters to the Editor' column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher: 'I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this.. They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!' When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!' All right, now that you're done reading, send it on! I think everyone should read this! 'When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say, 'Jesus, could you get that for me?'

Play Time

Fairst one in time out.
She does not look that happy.

Acting the wolf. He was extremely active on this outing.
Now she is having fun.
So cute with her new curls.
Second and last one to sit in time out. Was really, really, active and not aware of others around him.
My little monkey.
Look at her go.
Playing mostly by himself but having a good time no matter what.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Salad Time

Chris loves eggs in his salad. I prefer them with salt, deviled, or and egg salad.
I got these peppers from a local farmers market and decided to use them in this salad. They were oh so yummy.

Salon Time Again

Look how cute.
Cheesing.
Almost done. She does not look that happy. Now that is a weird look.
Waiting for the others to get done.
Another book and still waiting for his siblings.
All done and handsomer than ever.
A handsome pair.
My pretty little princess.
I love this look on her.

So it was time for the kids to go in a get a haircut, well two of the three. I did not want Morgyn to feel left out so I took her in to get her hair styled. It was trimmed before hand at another location and we really do not want to go any shorter. They all love the attention.

Starting Something New

So I thought I would start this up again. I wanted to make some blankets for my daughters barbie dolls and a blanket for each of my kids. Last night I experimented and came up with a barbie doll hat, using this yarn. I plane on making another hat in pink and maybe darker blue. I would like to start looming but let us just take it one step at a time.
Kind of a tye dye look going on here. This is for Logan, he really likes the colors. I will post the barbie doll hat later.

Not a bad start.

For Our Troops

'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.'?Prayer Request: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world. There is nothing attached. Just send this to people in your address book. Do not let it stop with you. Of all the gifts you could give a Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, & others deployed in harm's way, prayer is the very best one.

Donkey

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into awell. The animal cried piteously for hours asthe farmer tried to figure out what to do.Finally, he decided the animal was old, and thewell needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over andhelp him. They all grabbed a shovel and beganto shovel dirt into the well. At first, thedonkey realized what was happening and criedhorribly. Then, to everyone's amazement hequieted down.A few shovel loads later, the farmer finallylooked down the well. He was astonished at whathe saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit hisback, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.As the farmer's neighbors continued to shoveldirt on top of the animal, he would shake itoff and take a step up.Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkeystepped up over the edge of the well andhappily trotted off!Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kindsof dirt. The trick to getting out of the wellis to shake it off and take a step up. Each ofour troubles is a steppingstone. We can get outof the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.Remember the five simple rules to be happy:Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.Live simply and appreciate what you have. Give more.Expect less. NOW ............ Enough of that bull. The donkey later came back, and bit the farmer on the ass who had tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected and the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock. MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:When you do something wrong, and try to coveryour ass, it always comes back to bite you.You have two choices...smile and close this,or pass this along to someone else to wise them up.
