Surprise, Babies in the House

So last night and the night before I have been hearing alot of squeaks. At first I was like it is the male mice going at it, and it was. Well I fed the mice to the snakes last night, well two to Rylee, Mussler did not want to eat. So there should be no more squeaking right. Again last night I fed and watered all of the rats, heard squeaking again, thinking it was them fighting over food, then the morning rolls around. I kept hearing this squeaking, it was not the mice because they were dead, maybe it was their ghosts coming back to haunt me, you never know. Okay so I went into the kids room and checked on the rats, I started with Mr. and Mrs. Bigglesworth and that is when I saw it.....
Wait for it.....

And here we are. Mrs. Bigglesworth had a litter. SURPRISE!!!! I was in shock, I did not even know she was pregnant. I mean I was waiting and wondered if she would but this was so unexpected. I woke Chris up and dragged him in the kids room. He was asleep and the only thing he said was wait another 4 months and we will have another litter.

Momma is moving her babies because I went and cleaned some of the mess out of the cage. I laid down some new bedding, left some of the old around the nesting area. I gave her some paper towels and will check here in a minute on the status of the babies. The net said that soon after they are born you are to handle them so that your smell is on them. I petted Momma to see if she would bite and so far there is no biting action.

Okay so I counted the litter first and told Chris that there were 8, but as I picked up the litter I found 9.

Look how small they are. Man this is amazing. One of God's creatures and it is here in my house. I love animals and to see this miricale it is touching and so exciting.

Momma was trying to escape, and Payton was looking for a snack. She likes to snap at the little animals.

that was not pleasing to you.I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe
from all danger and harm.
Help me to start this day
with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.
Let me make the best of each and every day
to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.
Please broaden my mind
that I can accept all things.

over things I have no control over.And give me the best response
when I'm pushed beyond my limits.I know that when I can't pray,
You listen to my heart.
Continue to use me to do Your will.
Continue to bless me that I may be

I pray for those that are lost
and can't find their way.

and misunderstood.
I pray for those who
don't know You intimately.

I pray for those that don't believe.But I thank You that I believe
that God changes people and
God changes things.
I pray for all my sisters and brothers.
For each and every family member
in their households.
I pray for peace, love and joy
in their homes; that they are out of debt
and all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this
knows there is no problem, circumstance,
or situation greater than God.
Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received
into the hearts of every eye that sees it

NBC Poll

I'll bet this was a surprise to NBC. NBC POLL Do you believe that the word God should stay in American culture? NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest Number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls, and the Percentage was the same as this: 86% to keep the words, IN God We Trust and God in the Pledge of Allegiance 14% against That is a pretty 'commanding' public response. I was asked to send this on if I agreed or delete if I didn't . Now it is your turn. It is said that 86% of Americans believe the word God should stay. Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having 'In God We Trust' on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why is the world catering to this 14%? AMEN!

What Would You Do

Looking Out the Window

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the youngwoman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
"That laundry is not very clean", she said."She doesn't know how to wash correctly.
Perhaps she needs better laundry soap"Her husband looked on, but remained silent.Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, theyoung woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see anice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:"Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.
I wonder who taught her this?"The husband said, "I got up early this morning andcleaned our windows." And so it is with life. What we see when watching othersdepends on the purity of the window through which we look.

FOR THE TEENAGERWHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHESBECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,NOT ON THE STREETS.
FOR THE TAXES I PAYBECAUSE IT MEANSI AM EMPLOYED.
FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTYBECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVEBEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.
