Explaining Life

On the first day, God created the dog and said: 'Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.' The dog said: 'That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?' So God agreed. On the second day, God created the monkey and said: 'Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span.' The mo nkey said: 'Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did?' And God agreed. On the third day, God created the cow and said:'You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years.' The cow said: 'That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?'And God agreed again. On the fourth day, God created man and said: 'Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. ! For thi s, I'll give you twenty years.' But man sai d: 'Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?' 'Okay,' said God, 'You asked for it.' So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in
the sun to support our family. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone. Life has now been explained to you.

Sudoku Gone Wild

An Australian drugs trial lasting more than three months and costing taxpayers over A$1 million ($947,000) has been aborted after a number of jurors were found to have spent up to half the time playing Sudoku puzzles.
Sydney District Court Judge Peter Zahra cancelled the trial of two men on drugs conspiracy charges after the jury foreperson admitted that four to five jurors had been playing the addictive number sequence game, local media reported. The judge was alerted after some of the jurors were observed writing their notes vertically, rather than horizontally. The game involves completing a grid of numbers in the correct sequence.
One juror said the game helped them to pay more attention by keeping their mind busy.
"Some of the evidence is rather drawn out and I find it difficult to maintain my attention the whole time," the juror was quoted saying by the Australian Associated Press.
A new trial is expected to begin in a few weeks once a new jury has been called.

Stuck On You

There are really two of them.
These two were slamming into my gravel driveway so i put them in the grass on the side of the house. I took a few shots before I left them though.

Okay here is the story. I have been told that if two butterflies are stck together then they are mating. Logan came by and asked what they were doing and I told them that they were making a baby. He ran off and soon he came back with his friends and said hey look at the butterflies, they are making a baby. I told him to hush and not to say that to his friends. I am waiting for their parents to come and have a talk with me.

I am going to have to look it up and make sure the butterfly tale is fact or fiction.

A New Snuggle Toy

Morgyn use to rip the the fuzz off of my blankets, but now she found something new. She has started using the cat toy as a comfort during her thumb sucking. It is weird but funny when the cat gets mad and starts to meow. Morgyn has even been known to lay atop the cat and that really strikes a kitty nerve. The cat just takes it, she does not even bat at Morgyn, I think she is really getting use to the family.
How weird is this. It is a first for me, I never saw anyone do this before.

Strawberry Heaven

So here is the strawberry bunch we planted, I think it is done producing though. We were able to get a good deal of little snacks from it and I am happy about that fact. I can hardly wait to do it again.
Here are just a few.
One for Morgyn....
Two.....
And Three!!!!!

Growing Beauty

Out of five rose plants this is the only one that has had any success. I have another, a climbing rose bush and it is also coming along nicely but it has not produced anything yet. Speaking about producing, our tomatoe plants have three potentials on it.

This is such a pretty picture.

Pretty, pretty, flowers. In the middle is the climbing rose bush.
