Like I promised, here are just a few of the hats I ahve been working on for the babies. I have also made a couple for Morgyn, so she can joi in on the fun.
Just look at that face. You have to love her personality.
Here is a side veiw, these colors, well I am not too fond of them but hey I had the yarn and wanted to try it out.
Now in the sun these are an eye sore. The colors are so bright that they would blind you, but they are fun and that is what I was going for. It was a sample yarn. Something I could try a new thing on and here is the result.
Really, really, colorful. The girls are going to look almost as cute as Morgyn does.
These were the first hats I made. One I had to redo, well because it was looking like a sombero.
I had some extra yarn and was able to make one more baby hat in this color. I plan on giving it away to someone who is having a girl....any ideas.
I really love these colors.

Bed Rest

Since the accident I have been forced on bed rest. My back hurts really bad that last night I took a pill and stayed in bed watching Labryth and Alice in Wonderland. I was working on Logan's blanket. I tried to finish one bunch of yarn and am almost done with it. Two more bunches and then a different color for the border and I will be finished. I would like to finish his, Tristan's, and Morgyn's before Christmas, maybe this year or next.
Here is just one of my bed partners. Roxy stayed with me as I worked. It so relaxing that I wanted to fall asleep with her.

Morgyn joined in on the fun before her bath. Afterward her and the boys took over the bed to finish watching Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I went to work on my farm and was a little upset when Chris told me that me grapes had wasted away. Should have harvested them sooner.

I was redoing a baby hat with this yarn, because the first one looked like a sombero. I took it apart and made one in the same pattern as the rest of the hats I have been working on. I had yarn left over so I decided to make some hats for Morgyn's my little ponies. I whipped these out in less then 30 minutes.

When she got home she was so happy. Now all I have to do is make some for her babies and a blanket as well. Another idea for Christmas.

Duct Tape or Nail?

A man dies and goes to heaven. St. Peter meets him at the Pearly Gates and says, 'Here's how it works. You need 100 points to make it into heaven. You tell me all the good things you've done, and I give you a certain number of points for each item, depending on how good it was. When you reach 100 points, you get in.' 'Okay,' the man says, 'I was married to the same woman for 50 years and never cheated on her, even in my heart.' 'That's wonderful,' says St. Peter, 'that's worth two points!' 'Two points?!' he says.
'Well, I attended church all my life and supported its ministry with my tithe and service.' 'Terrific!' says St. Peter.. 'That's certainly worth a point.' 'One point!?!!'
'I started a soup kitchen in my city and worked in a shelter for homeless veterans.' 'Fantastic, that's good for two more points,' he says. ' Two points!?!!
'Exasperated, the man cries. 'At this rate the only way I'll get into heaven is by the grace of God.' ' Bingo ! 100 points ! Come on in!' We often try to fix problems with WD-40 and duct tape.
God did it with a nail. AMEN...

Tristan and Logan Bowling

We signed the boys up for bowling lessons with their Grandpa and we had alot of fun with it. They had fun rolling, Logan really throwing, their bowling balls down the lanes. They are going to continue this during the weeks to come. Hopefully Logan calms down just alittle bit. We are noticing that him and sugar is not a good combo, so water it is. We laughed and cheered a good deal. I forgot who got the high score in the first game but Logan took it away in the second. He got a score of over a 100...without his handicap. How can you not laugh at Logan's stance at the end.

Samantha and Her Banana

So I wanted to try something new when feeding my turtle, Samantha. I tried hand feeding this time and it was so much fun. I am so fascinated by my animals and am hoping to capture more of them on video.
